BERBATOV ... 'a player like no other'
Former Spurs star Berbatov will get a coating from visiting supporters tomorrow when Tottenham play United in their FA Cup fourth-round tie. And the Bulgarian is yet to win over sections of the Old Trafford faithful who believe the £30million man is lazy and over-priced.
Sheri had similar issues when he first arrived at United from Spurs but went on to become a Treble-winning legend. And he said: “I’m a big, big fan of Dimitar Berbatov. In fact, I think he’s a player like no other.
“He goes around the pitch at his own pace then he’ll put on a burst and leave his man for dead. “He does things you don’t expect and that’s what makes him so exciting. I really enjoy watching him. But I can understand how he could frustrate some supporters.
“Some people want to see a bit more enthusiasm from him but that’s just how he plays football. Personally, I love it.”
I'm neutral about him. From what I've seen he does little on the pitch, but when he does it, he does it excellently
