  As if they have not enough matches, now got another FA cup match against Spurs added in on the 24th... Really almost every 3 days one match man... No time for rest...

  Man Utd really this season like fated to meet Spurs again and again... Spurs are in the other semi-final of the Carling cup against Burnley which they should get pass... Then Meet United in the Final... lol

  Daniel Levy is going to be so pissed off if United and Berbatov manage to put his side out of both cups...

  TEVEZ BACK IN UNITED FRAY

  

   

   

   

  Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is in contention to feature in Wednesday night's Carling Cup tie against Derby. Tevez has missed United's last two matches after he was allowed to return to his native Argentina for personal reasons.

   

  However, he was due to resume training with the Red Devils on Monday and is in line to figure in the first leg of the semi-final in midweek.

  "Carlos will be back in training on Monday and he'll be involved on Wednesday," United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV.

  Tevez has been instrumental in United's wins over QPR and Blackburn Rovers in the previous two rounds and is expected to start at Pride Park.

  Ferguson will largely select from the same squad which overcame Southampton 3-0 in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

  He added: "It'll be virtually the same squad [that travelled to Southampton]. I might leave out one or two, but it'll be more or less the same group of players."

  Clough takes over as Derby boss

  Nigel Clough has left Burton to become the new manager of Derby.

  The 42-year-old former Nottingham Forest star has left Burton after 10 years to take up a new challenge with the Championship strugglers.

  Clough, whose father Brian steered Derby to the League title in 1972, leaves Burton with the club at the top of the Blue Square Premier.

  Derby, who are still in the Carling Cup, have been without a manager since Paul Jewell left on 28 December.

   Nemanja Vidic insists Manchester United's lengthy Carling Cup campaign is a help rather than a hindrance. United head to Derby County on Wednesday for the first leg of a semi-final that means every January midweek is filled with competitive action. "This is not a distraction," Vidic said. "We want to win. We have a big squad, so we need a lot of games to keep everyone fit. This is an important time of the season. Injuries can happen at any time - which is why we need everyone to be ready when the big games come around. We also know there is a trophy at the end of it. Maybe the Carling Cup is not as big as the Premier League or even the FA Cup. But it is still a trophy, which is what Manchester United thrives on. We are in the semi-finals now, so there will be no messing about."

  Derby deserved the win, the fired up their blades and attacked like an organized pack of wolfs. At least its a 1-0 lost, next leg we got to pull up our socks and work twice as hard!
