hmm.. that's so strange given Ballack is an accomplished international.
My only thots was for Giggs to be able to hang on to the ball and bring it out of danger zone with his dribbling skills. I think he outdid himself by tracking back and winning a few key tackles.

yes, that's MU strength at the moment, able to bring in fresh people for rotation.
And I believe SAF is keeping the old batch of players and inserting them whenever there is a need to stabilise the team and it is working wonders.

Yeah, Giggs said recently in an interview that it used to be about 2 days before he recover fully but these days, at 35... it takes one full week to recover after each match... and maybe even more to get back to peak level.
So I think its save to say he won't even be on the bench... Anyway a number of players didn't play on Sunday like Anderson, Scholes, Carrick only a bit part & Nani...
at least we know Chelsea came and try to play football @ OT.
