i actually expected ManU to give Stoke a whacking yesterday given the boost of the win on cup world cup but was kinda dissappointed by the late goal. hopefully, they could win M'Boro & Liverpool to lose their next game. Anyways, ManU still has a game in hand. That's what I'm pinning my hopes on.

Fergie has offered Southgate the hand of friendship ahead of United's clash with Boro.
Sir Alex Ferguson was irked by rookie boss Gareth Southgate two years ago, who'd accused Cristiano Ronaldo of diving to win a penalty and consign his Boro to defeat.
What right has this shaggy-haired upstart to speak out against the mighty Red Devils?, Fergie wondered. Subsequently, they argued over another Ronaldo penalty incident in early 2007 and, of course, Emmanuel Pogatetz's dangerous tackle on Rodrigo Possebon.
The wily Scot, though, is full of festive cheer after his side's narrow win over Stoke City and has moved to make peace with Southgate ahead the pair's next meeting on Monday.
Ferguson said: "We hope the Christmas spirit has lingered on long enough to help heal the rift that had developed between the two clubs.
"Over the years we have had some contentious games, culminating earlier in the season with the Carling Cup tie... that tackle could have broken Rodrigo Possebon's leg.
"I lost my temper at the time, but hopefully that challenge has served to bring both clubs to their senses.
"I feel the healing process started when their manager and his coach apologised for the tackle and things said in the heat of the moment.
"Now, I am sure we can build a better relationship. I certainly hope so, as I certainly admire the work of Gareth Southgate: a young, bold and brave manager."
However, with things hotting up at both ends of the table, one cannot rule out more controversy at Old Trafford. -
