My guess is Stoke.
Was hoping someone here could explain what it means...
Anyone saw the challenge by Fuller on O'Shea that caused O'Shea to lie flat on the pitch?
It kinda looked like Fuller gave him a punch to the stomach.
Jet lag? What jet lag?
For lengthy period's of Boxing Day's curtain raising Premier League
game, it looked as though Stoke City would battle to a well-earned draw
at the Britannia Stadium.
Manchester United though refused to
accept the draw and, perhaps buoyed by the sending off of Andy
Wilkinson, managed to break a deadlock that lasted for over 80 minutes
of play.
Argentine international Carlos Tevez was the hero of
the day as he took advantage of a Dimitar Berbatov pass that he duly
poked home to seal the win, and close the gap at the top of the table
to just four points.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson reflected on the win:
"At
this stage of the season they are all big wins, we've just got back
from Japan and were wondering how we would handle it but we coped very
well, and the energy was good.
"Sometimes you have to be patient in games like this, and we took the risk from playing Ryan at left back."
When
asked whether the trip to Japan will have caused his squad some
unwanted tiredness, he said: "Not at all, they showed great energy.
"I was thinking this could end up a draw... but Carlos scores important goals."
Regarding
the change of dynamic when Wilkinson was dismissed for two bookable
offences, Sir Alex added: "The sending off didn't give us a lift, just
a numerical advantage. It may have effected them; it's difficult to
say."
Prior to kick off Jonny Evans replaced Rio Ferdinand in
the line up, who suffered a back complaint. "He'll be out against
'Boro. We've got to get to the bottom of this problem," Ferguson
confirmed.
"When you get to New Year's day, and if we are only a
couple of points adrift, then we'll be happy with it [the club's
standing in the league]. Then we can push on from there," he concluded.
It was Berbatov who made it possible...

United just needed that one moment of brilliance.

yes, very disappointed @ Ronaldo and Rooney.
His 2seconds of madness could earn him a red card and a 3 match ban, and that could be a big loss to the title chase.
and ronaldo, he already was let off at Spurs and again he does it. And I do believe the defender (stoke) was gloated into having a go at him and losing his head and got the red.
it is no fun to play teams that park the bus but we need to do better than that.
btw, how come stoke players all like on steriods, macam like bouncers..
also, Rio is out for 10 days.

some will say this type of games defines a champion cause it is so ugly a game but somehow MU still manage a 3points..

Wilkinson already tackled him twice before the final offence that got him sent off right?
I could'nt differentiate shawcross and him. bloody sun so bright, i've never seen shadows that long before.
Also, i think that somehow influenced some of the linesman's decisions like when Tevez was incorrectly ruled offside when he was through 1 on 1 with Sorensen.

See Giggs also like blur blur like that.
Vidic was so pissed off with Evans and Giggs lol . Seems like no Rio, the defence can easily lose their organisation.
