Cristiano Ronaldo is unfazed by all the speculation surrounding his future and has said he is happy at Manchester United.
Reports in the Spanish press claim that Real Madrid chairman Ramon Calderon has had a conversation with a fellow director during which he revealed having reached an agreement regarding Ronaldo’s future move to the Bernabeu.
But Sir Alex Ferguson has rubbished the story and Ronaldo has committed himself to United.
The Portugal international is currently in Japan, preparing for the Club World Cup final that will take place on Sunday against Copa Libertadores winners Liga de Quito.
Ronaldo said: "I don't care what people are saying.
"I have not read it. I am here in Japan and I know nothing about what is going on around me.
"But I am very happy playing for Manchester United."
Winning the Club World Cup would be massive for Ronaldo, who dreams of adding another title to his collection.
"It would mean a lot for me to be a world champion," he said.
"It would be fantastic to win this trophy - and now there is a good chance, not just from a personal perspective but for Manchester United.
"We might only have one opportunity and we have to take it."
He added: "We are expecting a difficult game. The second match is always more difficult than the first, and we have to prepare well.
"Quito are a good team, with a lot of experience. We have a couple of days to study them and to see who the best players are, but the most important thing for us is to put the ball in the net."
