Final score... 5 - 3.
United kids pull off a good one but became complacent towards the end... At on point it was 4 - 1 then they allowed Blackburn to come back to 4 - 3 only for Tevez to make it save again in the 90 min at 5 - 3.
Tevez had probably his best game for United this season... Good job...

CARLOS TEVEZ left Old Trafford with his future looking secure. But Rovers boss Paul Ince followed him down the tunnel after this Manchester United masterclass with his very much in doubt.
Ince used to call himself The Guv’nor as he picked up titles and cups aplenty in his pomp as a player in the red of United. Soon he won’t even be The Gaffer. He has overseen the Lancashire club’s slide into the drop zone after failing to win in nine league games.
Now this stuffing, with Rovers’ own fans chanting ‘You don’t know what your doing’ at Ince. The scoreline flattered Rovers, who were totally outplayed last night with two of their goals coming in the last six minutes when the game was already up.

Now the team selection for Saturday’s visit of Sunderland will be very interesting. What a problem for United manager Alex Ferguson to have. While the side he sent out last night may not have been United’s strongest XI, it was certainly a line-up to be reckoned with.

Good for the youngsters but the only people playing seriously were maccarthy and tevez.
the rest of the blackburn team more or less gave up. the rest of man united more or less play for fun.
