Play against Villareal like always draw de lor.
Villareal lost 3-0 at home to Valladolid..
Plus with a full team if i'm not wrong.
Christiano Ronaldo was substituted towards the end of his team's goal-less draw at Aston Villa today having suffered a leg injury, and it is lokking likely that he will miss Tuesday's visit to Villareal on Tuesday night.
"His leg is in a mess. He is doubtful for Tuesday," said United boss after the game.
With Dimitar Berabtov also looking likely to miss the Champions League tie in Spain, after being injured in Bulgaria's 6-1 demolotion by Serbia, Ferguson may find his forward options somewhat curtailed against Villareal.
He remained positive about his team's performance at Villa Park today though, despite the disappointing result.
"I thought we were the better team apart from a 15-minute spell at half-time when Villa got the ball into our box from free-kicks and corners and caused a lot of problems," said Ferguson.
"Apart from that, we weren't in danger. I was pleased with the effort we put in against an aggressive and determined team who defended for their lives.
"Our possession was good and we created the chances. Wayne Rooney and Ji-Sung Park had good chances.
"With the amount of possession we had at the end I thought another chance must come along, but they held on."
And the Scotsman disagreed with Martin O'Neill's assessment of the situation regarding United defender Nemanja Vidic's tugging down of Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor, feeling that the Serbian defender got the ball. O'Neill felt the player should have been sent off, even of the offence didn't warrant a penalty. Ferguson didn't think so.
"Vidic has got the ball. The crowd can sometimes get you a penalty, but the referee couldn't give that one. He gave plenty to them as it was," Ferguson concluded.
Ronaldo was also seen to gesture to sections of the Villa support near the tunnel as he came off. No comment has yet been made about this by either club.
I think this match don't win also nevermind lah... I rather they rest a few players and get them ready for the big one against Man City on Sunday...
The two sides are due to meet in midweek when the two sides go head-to-head in the Champions League on Tuesday.
And according to the News of the World the Spanish star appears to be clearly unimpressed with the Red Devil.
“Cristiano is a great player and I once said he made up 50 per cent of United’s strike force,” said Senna.
“Now I think I over-rated his importance. When Cristiano does not score, his role is limited. Yes, he is fast, but countless step-overs are not necessarily productive.”
Ronaldo limped out of United’s goalless draw with Aston Villa yesterday and is now a doubt for the Villarreal game.
Yet Senna clearly does not believe the hype that surrounds the Portuguese player and views Ronaldinho as a better footballer.
“He is not a complete player like Ronaldinho in the good times,” explained the Villarreal skipper.
“He used to score, take penalties, free kicks, dribble, give accurate short and deep passes, assist and run everywhere.”
United travel to Spain on Tuesday to meet Villarreal with both sides hoping to improve on the goalless draw the two sides shared at Old Trafford in their opening Champions League encounter of the season.
The Portuguese winger was substituted in the 82nd minute of United’s goalless draw at Aston Villa on Saturday and was limping heavily as he left the ground.
He could also struggle to be fit for next Sunday’s derby at Manchester City.
Boss Alex Ferguson said: “His leg’s in a mess. He’ll be doubtful for Tuesday, I’m sure of that.”
Ronaldo joins Wes Brown, Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves on United’s injury list, while Darren Fletcher hopes to shake off a knee injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to play for Manchester United at Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday after limping out of Saturday’s stalemate with Aston Villa.
The winger was substituted towards the end of United’s 0-0 draw at Villa Park with boss Sir Alex Ferguson suggesting after the game that he was a doubt for the midweek clash.
But Ronaldo trained with the rest of the squad at Carrington on Monday morning and looks likely to travel to Spain.
Darren Fletcher could also be on the plane for the clash at El Madrigal. The midfielder was another to take part in training on Monday morning after missing the Villa clash with a knee injury.
Latest: VDS rested, didnt travel with the team.

hmm should I watch.. lately playing not up to standard.. i watch aso get irritated lawls.. too much expectations from them hehs.. cant blame me lahs... watch them play the most beautiful soccer is really quite orgasmic one.. lols..
im thinking fergie has favouritism with rooney.. i'm not sure with the rest of you, but so far rooney is nothing but overhyped, he can't dribble with flair and tevez has better ball control than him.. maybe fergie has this thing for local lads..
should let nani park fletch and anderson play.. park was one of the best MUFC players in the last game.. better than rooney imo.. can try manucho with tevez also.. haiz..
Since like Man Utd will win this game 2-1?
Villarreal havent lost at home in UCL before.

same here i always feel tevez has better ball control maybe passing also..rooney usually mis pass when his off form ...rooney abit overrated by saf
Rooney is like that..once tio injury, take very long to regain his form.
Both teams playing like headless chickens.
lols.. lucky nver watch..

I mean what can one player, even if he is a world class striker, can do much with 5 mins of play left?
me too
i thought tevez would start with rooney because berbatov is injuried. but fergie pair rooney with anderson instead
things aren't looking good for tevez huh
