Win can liao. hopefully will jump start our away form.
After this match we still got Villareal and Man City away if i'm not wrong.
Don't forget there is Friedel in the Villa side... This fellow always perform like a super goalkeeper whenever he plays against United... And also, Villa is no push over side having just beaten Arsenal away, they will be up for this match.
Somemore with Ronaldo going all the way to Brazil... He won't be able to perform as well as we know he can...
This match won't be easy with most of the United players away on international duties... Coming back I am afraid they won't be in top form...
Van Der Sar
Brown / Ferdinand / Vidic / Evra
Park / Fletcher / Carrick / Giggs
Rooney / Berbatov
Subs:
Kuszczak, R Da Silva, O'Shea, Evans, Anderson, Ronaldo, Tevez
shat got the manutd no 1 enemy keeper i just realised it...
close 0 1 win for us i guess tevez rooney i wanna see dem both again...a
we may have a game in hand, but we surely don't want to follow in gooners' footstep..
with chelsea and pool blazing a trail upfront, MU needs to get all the wins to pressure them.. else, it will be become a two horse race by jan..

Sorry to say but
Any team could beat Arsenal these days. So nothing to be afraid of
1-1 draw settle
our players coming back from international friendlies
expect them to be restless man
The ever-improving Villans suffered a little dip in form just before the 2-0 win over the Gunners last week.
Now,
Northern Irish boss Martin O'Neill has called for his side to keep the
momentum going and really display their top-four credentials.
The boss said: "Arsenal? The result allied to the performance was really terrific.
"It was full of really good football and has certainly given a big boost of confidence to the players.
"We were so brave, so strong and so attack-minded. It was exhilarating.
"Now it's United. What do they do after the Arsenal win? They just have to take it on again...that will be very important."
Villa will go two points clear of United should they beat them at home on Saturday.

Villa have not scored a league win over United for 13 years, yet the two sides go into Saturday’s encounter with only one point separating them in the league.
O’Neill has already guided his men to a 0-0 draw against Liverpool and a 2-0 win at Arsenal this season, and he believes they are ready to take the big scalp of the European champions this weekend.
"Villa Park is a happy ground for them. Their record against us here is exceptional and they enjoy playing here,” conceded the Villa boss.
"I generally believe records are there to be broken but I think we would need to play as well as we did at the Emirates to stop this run. Do I think we are capable of doing it? Yes.
"I am thinking our side is capable of doing something about the record and, if we don't gain confidence from the win last week, we will never gain confidence.
"It was a big lift to beat a top-four side away. People are going to see how you perform against the big sides to see if you are making progress.
"If we beat Arsenal and Manchester United in successive games, it would give us the most enormous boost. The players would think they are capable of going onto the pitch against the big sides and not just competing - but with a chance of winning.
"That is the sort of mentality we are trying to change here."
This will be a very tricky match... Playing away after the all international matches won't be easy... United need to be in their top form to get all 3 points against this Villa side.
Aston Villa will be without Carlos Cuellar for the visit of Manchester United as he has a thigh strain.
Luke Young is expected to revert to his favoured right-back role with Nicky Shorey returning on the left.
United duo Dimitar Berbatov (hamstring) and Wes Brown (ankle) are sidelined and Rio Ferdinand faces a fitness test on a back injury.
Wayne Rooney is expected to recover from a calf strain which kept him out of England's midweek win in Germany.

Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill:
"They are a great side and they love playing at Villa Park. It's just a favourite ground. What we want to do is buck the trend and win the game. Then next time, people don't talk about their great record. "They have beaten us in my two seasons - and in some games they have absolutely outplayed us. "That all doesn't matter - the bottom line is they keep beating us and we must try to change that!"
Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick:
"We know what Aston Villa bring to the table. "They have got some good players and some young players with bags of energy and enthusiasm. "For them to go to the Emirates and win says a lot and will put them in confident mood. "But if we play like we can, we are confident we will win the game."

*shakes head*
o'neil is talking too much for his own good..normally the one that talks the most will end up with eggs..
I hope O'Neill will be the man to take over from Fergie when he retire in a year or two time... This guy is really the Special One... Taking a Villa side with little money to spend and making them a possible top 4 side...
