Tottenham chief Harry Redknapp is keen to take a first-hand look at striker Fraizer Campbell against Liverpool in the Carling Cup on Wednesday evening.
The loan signing from Manchester United is currently behind Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko in the pecking order and he has cut a frustrated figure at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp has been reluctant to make changes with Spurts on the crest of a wave, but the Carling Cup hands him the chance to check on some fringe players – Campbell among them.
"I'm going to make one or two changes," Redknapp said.
"One or two of the lads will get a chance because they are good players but it will still be a good team.
"I need to see the likes of Fraizer Campbell. I've seen nothing of him but he's looked terrific in training.
"When he came on the other night in the Uefa Cup game he was lively and a real prospect. Hull offered £7million to Manchester United so he's definitely not a bad player."

Their "show-respect" team.
Chelsea: Carlo Cudicini, Paulo Ferreira, Branislav Ivanovic, Alex, Wayne Bridge, Juliano Belletti, Deco, Mineiro, Florent Malouda, Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou.
Subs: Hilario, Frank Lampard, Franco Di Santo, John Obi Mikel, Scott Sinclair, John Terry, Michael Woods

with that, no more need to gripe about Arsenal sending in "youngsters" and "not respecting the competition"
