While Cristiano Ronaldo has been picking up the individual awards for
his 42 goal haul last season it is his attacking partner Wayne Rooney
drawing the plaudits this season for embarking on an impressive run.
The
powerhouse striker has told Inside United magazine of his enjoyment
working with Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez, and Dimitar Berbatov, and
feels the latter is coming on particularly well since his high profile
transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.
"It’s unbelievable. I think
Berba is getting better with every game, Ronaldo is getting fitter and
Carlos is world class," he said.
Rooney also went on to mention
he has a bizarre pre-match ritual, and that prior to the Celtic game,
he will go through the same motions:
"I put my socks on in someone else’s seat. I never put them on in my own seat," he declared.
