Norwegian favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has apparently rejected the opportunity to become head coach of Brann.
The Manchester United legend, who is currently reserve team coach at Old Trafford, is believed to have discussed the post with Brann officials in his homeland.
However, the former Red Devils striker has opted to continue his apprenticeship under Sir Alex Ferguson with the Premier League and European champions.
"It is correct that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a meeting with Brann where they wanted to know more about his future plans," his agent Jim Solbakken told Bergensavisen.
"Ole Gunnar is flattered by the interest but has only just started in a role at Manchester United and he is thinking of that now."
Mons Ivar Mjelde, the most successful boss in the Bergen club's history, held a press conference earlier this month to announce he was stepping down at the end of the season.
Kudos to the baby-faced assassin!
Hooray! We can use his experience!
