Berbatov 'in talks' with United!!!
Sky Sports News understands that Dimitar Berbatov is currently holding talks with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
A tug-of-war is developing for the Bulgaria international's services with Manchester City having seen a shock deadline day bid in excess of £30million accepted by Tottenham.
The Spurs striker has been tracked by the Premier League and European champions throughout the summer and has previously intimated that a move to Old Trafford is his 'dream'.
City stunned the football world with their audacious late approach, but United remain very much in the equation.
Mark Hughes has told Sky Sports News that he hopes to meet Berbatov later in the day, but Ferguson is already sitting down with the talented forward at the club's Carrington training ground.
Berbatov has been left out of Juande Ramos' plans for the club's last two matches, with the coach feeling his presence was a disruptive influence on the rest of the squad.
Ramos admitted earlier in the day he wanted the saga to be resolved one way or another, and has targets in mind to replace the Bulgarian.
To add further confusion to the saga, reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid are planning to make a €45million (£36.5million) bid for his services.

The difference between the two was while Berbatov rejected City and only wanted to go to United leaving Spurs no choice but to sell to United, Robinho was willing to go anywhere as long as he could leave Real.
Finally its over...

we still have to pay 30mil and we let Campy on loan ... tho it is a good thing for him to gain exp. Surely he will be used. cuz Bent only striker and after seeing him start for Hull, he get a first team place ba. two black(not offence) botak English strikers up front.
okay so will the Andy Cole's No.9 be lived up to the legendary 9 status?
Just one side thing: Rooney:T90 Laser, Ronaldo:MV4, Tevez:Tiempo Legend, then now one Adidas(not in favour of Utd's Nike) Predator join in.

Reports that City tried to pull off one of the coups of their history by hijacking United’s transfer.
They had bid $34m for Berbatov and Spurs accepted. Hughes said he was hopeful of meeting Berbatov for talks but Berbatov was on a private jet and was whisked straight to United’s training centre for talks with Ferguson.
As the day grew, there were reports that Ferguson drove away from Carrington with Berbatov hiding on the back seat under a blanket. The Bulgarian was later captured by TV cameras shaking hands with United chief executive David Gill and manager Ferguson at Old Trafford.
Spurs had no choice but to sell to United against their wishes as the player didn't want to go to City.

I really don't understand Ronbinho's move seriously... He was like 4th choice to City after they fail in landing Berbatov, Villa and Gomez... Chelsea rated him highly and all that talk of only wanting to play for Chelsea... What happen?

neh! Robinho no good, will flop at city for sure! OR will take long long time to adapt to the EPL while Dimi already seasoned! Like Tevez! Tevez soak in EPL for awhile before joinning MU so he knows what is what... you get the drift draft yea?
