Giggs admits this could be his last season

  United winger Ryan Giggs admits this could be his last season. The legendary Welshman, 34, said: “In the last couple of seasons, I’ve gone into competitions as if they were my last.

  “I’m not getting any younger so it could be my final season. “That’s my motivation — to stay in the team with good players around you, and to win things because you want to experience what we did last season.”

  Giggs has looked fresh and enthusiastic in pre-season and is likely to start the new season as a key part of Ferguson's team. He is already looking to the future and began working towards his coaching qualifications during the summer.

  The former Wales captain added: 'I went to Lilleshall with Gary Neville and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. It brought me back down to earth after the Champions League in Moscow. 'I enjoyed it, although it's hard work looking at things from the other side of the fence. It was tough as I've been used to playing and just concentrating on that.

  'There are so many other things to concentrate on as a coach so I suppose I appreciate what the coach is doing a lot more now. 'I think I'll pursue it. I have to finish it off this season then go for my Pro Licence. I want to be prepared for when I finish playing.'

  Giggsy is a living playing Legend of Old Trafford. A true professional. It will be sad to see him retire.

  Was painful to see Ole retire last season, next season VDS also going out for sure.
  I hope giggs can stay 2 seasons more! Scholes another 3 =)

  Fergie should start looking grooming Foster. I think he intends to have Foster as first choice after VDS retires. Scholes can last 2 seasons more as his play is akin to Sheringham making use of intelligent play rather then speed.
