how can the referee miss the "massage"? it is utter shame on how the MIB's standard has dropped.
back to game, it is painfully clear that Giggs is not able to fill the support striker or forward role. He needs balls to his left, not right, and more importantly, we need a striker. Not when Campbell is more interested in ball-chasing..
but give credit to United for their defence held, GVN did well, but strangely, it seems with brown, United backline looks more settled.
Anyway, with a 2nd string side, I see Pompey struggling, and their tall-short combo not really clicking.. But all along Pompey has always rely on their man-mountains so credit to them for holding United to 0-0.
For penalties, it is always United to win given their many practises. If they can do it in Russia, they can do it wembley. But it is always nice to see an ex-chelsea, Johnson aiming for the stars and not the goal..
but I may have missed a lot of magic in this match as my time was spend alternating on CH603, watching the redeem team (US) dismantle CHina basketball team.
