The Manchester United winger's future has been the subject of intense
speculation for some time, with the Real Madrid chairman claiming on
multiple occasions that a deal had been agreed, only for the British
outfit to deny it right after.
Ronaldo has been coy when quizzed
on where he wants to be since the end of Euro 2008, as he is aware
Manchester United hold all the aces over his future.
He has now
been extremely vague once again when questioned about his future,
having gone as far as to say that he could well continue at Old
Trafford.
"What I want is to be happy regardless of where I play. If I am motivated, any place is fine," Ronaldo told ESPN.
When
asked about his opinion on the fact that his rumoured exit from
Manchester United has been one of this summer's biggest transfer sagas,
he said: "The big players are always wanted by big clubs, not only me.
This is something normal. I had already been wanted in previous years."
He further added that he is not "anxious" about his future and
does not know the next chapter of the Ronaldo saga: "Only God knows it."
so arrogant...!.....nevertheless, irregardless of where he go, Man u will still be strong....i hope...heh
not need hope.. we will be strong
frankly, this summer, is quite the worse..
Imagine winning the double, and the best player pulls such stunt.
I just wish it to end, stay or leave. And then MUFC can go forward..
now like stuck in neutral....
well i hope that even if he stays, his performances will still be consistent
