Roma Ready To Swoop For Saha
Roma are looking to bring out-of-favour Manchester United striker Louis Saha to the Stadio Olimpico according to Il Messaggero.
Luciano Spalletti is believed to be a big admirer of the French hit-man and Roma are currently working to strengthen their side ahead of the new season.
Il Messaggero claims that the Giallorossi have been working behind closed doors for the past month with a view to swooping for the striker.
Saha doesn't seem a part of Sir Alex Ferguson's immediate plans at Old Trafford and he could be on his way out. The striker's contract expires in 2010 and the Red Devils are asking for €10m from Roma if they want him.
The Giallorossi would be willing to pay that price but they would rather take the hit-man on loan for one season so that they can see his form before splashing out.
The Giallorossi are in the process of renewing contracts for those who are staying and selling players who are not considered part of the club's future.
If Roma decide to put their foot on the gas for Saha then he could arrive sooner rather than later given United's ambition to let him go.

Prob here with Saha is he cant even make the bench. Gosh, he gets injured from warming up!

selling saha makes no impact no man utd... replacing him can only strengthend the squad.. anyway they have that congolese striker coming back next season i think...

hehe, i know what you huys meant :)but now they don't have an out-and-out striker. even though Saha's injured most of the time, he can still be useful when he's ok. nvm, this is out of the point liao. Just hope SAF can sign another striker...
or hope Manucho gets his work permit soon.
