Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos insists he is "extremely sure" he will remain at the Bernabeu for a long time and hopes to retire at the club.
Ramos was reportedly set to be at the centre of one of the biggest transfer battles of the summer with Chelsea,Manchester United and AC Milan just a few of the names in the frame.
But the 22-year-old, who is contracted to the Primera Liga giants until 2013, claims he has no desire to head for the Bernabeu exit doors.
"I'm extremely sure that my future lies here," Ramos told Radio Marca. "I'm flattered that great clubs like Milan or Chelsea are interested in me.
"It's a sign that things are going well for me and it's something that encourages you to continue improving and I will do so in Real Madrid.
"I have a very long contract and the only thing I am thinking about is retiring here.
"I am very happy with my team-mates, team, city and family.
"They gave me a revised deal and I'm very happy with the contract I have, even though one always aims to improve and grow in all aspects.
"We are champions of La Liga and I will continue benefiting from this while I prepare for the European Championships.
"Afterwards, what will be will be."
While there is talk of Ramos leaving the Bernabeu, Madrid remain keen to bolster their squad, with much talk centring on Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spanish club have already stated they believe such a move is unlikely, but Ramos would love to see the Portuguese winger in Madrid.
"That would be something big and would give us many benefits," he continued.
"He has much danger and speed, he makes the difference and creates scoring opportunities in almost whatever counterattack and he suits us well.
"He is showing the quality he has and he is one of the best players in the world.
"No one knows if we will manage to sign him. You have to evaluate many things.
"He has spent many years in the Premier League and I don't know if he will want a change of country, of team and of environment."
