According to reports on Saturday morning, the Reds are believed to be
pondering a surprise £5million move for West Ham United’s Anton
Ferdinand, younger brother of current number five Rio.
The 23-year-old has often been credited with having as much talent as
his sibling, but he has so far been unable to really stamp his
authority on the Premier League and earn a place in the senior England
set-up.
However, with Sir Alex Ferguson looking for a replacement for Gerard
Pique who is off to Barcelona, the younger Ferdinand may be given the
dream chance to link up with Rio at Old Trafford.
wow just like the nevilles... heh!
Shock raid i thought Dean Ashton coming... Oh well, this Anton also not a bad defender lah... at least better than Pique... and he has good potential too...
And who knows, maybe 5 yrs down the road when the 6+5 rule comes into play, he may be useful too... lol

well, if richards comes, he can play rb too..
and to me, whats 25mil, if the whole team can achieve a treple or double?the ends justifies the means.. what's the point of getting 5m player when the team can't get cups/titles? I seriously think MU needs to build and be dominant and get really good players and not these extra baggages..
we have witnessed the gap between 99 and 08, surely, all MUFC fans wants to go back to UCL finals, and push Pool off the top as UK most successful club.
