come on, bolton has to fight against relegation, so who hav to be more cautious?
LOL
We'll fight to the death for title.
OWEN HARGREAVES says Manchester United will push themselves to the limit to win the title on Sunday. The Red Devils know that victory at Wigan would hand them the Premier League crown. But anything less than three points could gift Chelsea the trophy instead. And Hargeaves insists United are ready to battle their hearts out at the JJB Stadium.
The midfielder said: “We’ve worked so hard all season. "We’ll go out on the pitch on Sunday and give everything we have for 90 minutes.
“At the start of the season if somebody had offered us one game, just 90 minutes, to win the league, we would have jumped at that. We’re in a good position. “As long as we’re controlling our destiny I don’t think we need worry too much. "We are full of confidence. We believed we would beat West Ham last week because our home record is so good.
"Wigan have done themselves a favour by beating Aston Villa, so this game doesn’t mean a lot for them. But to us it means everything. “We’ve got 90 minutes to play and it’s a great position to be in. We’ve had no midweek game so we’ve put in some good training and hopefully we will be ready for the weekend.”
Steve Bennett has been appointed to take of the title decider at the JJB Stadium where table-topping Manchester United take on Steve Bruce's Wigan.
The other match which sees second-placed Chelsea host Bolton will be refereed by Chris Foy.
Two of the three red cards Cristiano Ronaldo has received during his time at Old Trafford have been handed out by Bennett and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said Bennett would have taken "great delight" in sending off the Portuguese for headbutting Portsmouth's Richard Hughes in August 2007.
Ferguson also accused Bennett of failing to protect Ronaldo after the player was sent off for a reckless lunge during the 3-1 defeat away to Manchester City in January 2006.
As i have feared all along, one of the 3 anti-United referees is to refereed United's match against Wigan...
The only good thing i can see from it is... of the 3, he isn't the worst. Rob Styles and Martin Atkinson are worse...
WIGAN are looking forward to being the most hated team on the planet — by wrecking Manchester United’s title dream. Chairman Dave Whelan knows United’s 330million fans worldwide will probably never forgive his club if they deny Alex Ferguson’s side all three points at the JJB Stadium on Sunday.
That would surely hand the title to Chelsea, who entertain Bolton in their final game. But even though Whelan is a great admirer of Fergie, he vowed the visitors would be getting no favours from Steve Bruce’s men.
Whelan declared: “We would probably be the most disliked team in the world if we win. But we don’t mind that. We’re going to give it a go. “Talk of us rolling over and letting Sir Alex’s team win is rubbish. There is nothing we would like better than to roll Manchester United over.
“If we can beat United, we’ll do it. Our lads are up for it big style. They are relaxed and confident after our fantastic win at Aston Villa last week, which guaranteed we would stay up. “If the players put on another performance like that, I’d say United have a hell of a fight on.
“This match will be beamed worldwide and that is a fantastic opportunity. We are on centre stage of the Premier League. That’s huge.”

LOL
Bolton's superior goal difference would ensure their safety so in the way, they can afford to relax a little.
Thinking of punting on a cheeky Bolton win at the betting shop later. What's the odds? hahah.......

United v Wigan, Chelsea v Bolton - on these games does the fate of this season's Premier League title rest.
On any normal week three points apiece for United and Chelsea would most likely be a formality - but this is not a normal week.
One slip up for United and the title belongs to Chelsea - provided they don't mess up at Bolton.
It's not so much a case of who is going to win their respective matches, more who will make the fewest mistakes.
The Wigan goal will appear about as large as a Subbutteo net until United get off the mark on Sunday.
After all that scintillating football this season surely the Reds won't fail now?
