WAYNE ROONEY is out of Manchester United’s final two league games. The hip injury that forced him to miss Tuesday’s win over Barcelona will definitely keep him out of Saturday’s home clash with West Ham — and almost certainly see him sit out the final league game of the season, away to Wigan.
But the 22-year-old England striker should be fit for the Champions League final on May 21. A win for United this weekend and defeat for Chelsea at Newcastle on Monday means the Red Devils will be crowned champions for the second season running.
Alex Ferguson’s side have looked shaky on the domestic front in recent games and have stuttered with two draws and a defeat in recent games. But they showed grit and determination to reach the Euro final in Moscow and now the players have confidence flowing through them.
Midfielder Michael Carrick said: “The win against Barcelona will give us a boost. “There is no better feeling than going back into the league on the back of something like this. We are absolutely buzzing.”
Defender Wes Brown agreed and declared: “The lads certainly are buzzing. “We know we have two difficult games in the Premier League now but everyone is delighted we are in the final. “It is something we have been looking to do in the last nine seasons. “It is going to help us in the final two league matches. “If we can play in those like we did at Old Trafford against Barcelona then we have a great chance. “The atmosphere at Old Trafford was great. The fans are legend. “They got us going in the game and we never looked back. “If we can play like that against West Ham we have a great chance.”
these two pics scare me.. they look freaky..
thats a bad news...so now we only have tevez as the remaining recognised striker...so ronaldo will most probably play as the SC role like what he did against barca..and can some1 update on what the hell is going on with glass player saha?...its time he should stop being a pussy complaining of not being fit for games and stand up for us.

i also wonder where is dong
Ronaldo's 38 goals has covered up the fact that MUFC has no out and out strikers.
Rooney certainly isn't, and neither is Tevez.
I believe Rooney's injury is serious but considering that he got kicked and the free kick went against him, just showed how shallow the refereeing is..
If and only if, the referee's standard is so "good", I believe the title may go to London be it chelsea or even Gunners..
