LOL @ him
To be fair, grant did well for the season (until now, I am still unsure whether he is qualified to be a manager in BPL).
To lose in front of your boss, and in his backyard, is not going to help.
Like I said, MU rode their luck better but neither team deserved to lose.
i dont think he would have stayed on to manage even if chelsea won.
But if they won. at least he had something to be proud off. but sad la.
Now we shall wait and see if there will be an exodus of players.
who cares?
GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED
btw, whose your Man of Match??
"Ferguson identified Edwin van der Sar for special acclaim, presenting him with a plaque as Uefa's man-of-the-match, and going on to compare him with Peter Schmeichel. "That penalty save was no accident," said Ferguson. "I have to say I thought it was over when Cristiano missed his penalty. But the slip by John Terry gave us an opening. Maybe it was fate, him missing his kick like that. I really think fate has played its hand."

For me, Carrick is my MOM. He strings the passes, intercepts and he should have scored. In two teams of mega-stars, he was the one who was quietly doing his business and for me, the most impressive.
Prior to Anelka's save, Edwin pointed to his left and then dived right.
MIND games, but it worked!!!
man of the match is cech
Essien.
Such a pity that he isnt in red. tsk.
Although he was forced to play in a position he is not comfortable with, he did his best. when ronaldo scored he knew it was his fault but he could do nothing about it.
So he found the best way to reply. he attacked. and resulted in the lucky goal.
Edwin was great though. he told anelka the direction to shoot and anelka said yes i am shooting there but he dived towards the opp direction which is the correct one.
powderful. hahaha
Fergie: Victory was pure fate
ALEX FERGUSON claimed the best is still to come after Manchester United clinched the Double in dramatic fashion. Ryan Giggs sealed United's sudden-death shootout joy in Moscow after a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Champions League final. And Ferguson insisted victory was down to fate - 50 years after the Munich air disaster decimated the club's Busby Babes
The United chief said: "I think this has the makings of being my best ever team. It’s fantastic. "I think there is a sense of fate about this. I think we deserved to win." Fergie added: "The first half we played fantastic. We should have been three up. "I think they got a lucky break for their goal.
"The second half I thought they were the better team but we came back into it in extra time. "I’m absolutely delighted for the fans here and my players." And the man who has won everything revealed this was his FIRST ever competitive success on spot-kicks.
Ferguson said: "That’s the first penalty shoot-out I’ve ever won. "I've won the Charity Shield [on penalties] ... but the European Cup, Scottish Cup, FA Cup - this is the first shoot-out."
just one question, why did Sir Charlton did not put the medal around his neck?

well, 4 wins out of 4 Finals, not bad for a 66 yr old.
(For those pool fans who are still comparing Rafa with SAF.)

euro will keep us occupied for a month.
Watch all the Penalties here... Cech for all his good skill in saving and blocking shots in open play, is not good or experience with penalties...
Watch Vds how he played with Anelka's mind by telling him shoot to his left, his left, like taunting him like that then he jumped to the right... lol... I didn't notice this from the Tv last night, just realised it after watching this clip...
This is called experience man... He knows how to wind-up an opponent at a critical moment... He also almost saved Lampard's and Cole's too...

Why they were so angry with the whole thing is because chelsea played the ball out when one of their players was injured and they stopped the game.
But instead of returning the ball to them where they played in out, tevez kicked it deep into their half.
Retards. They did the same to man united twice earlier. And tevez returned the favour so they got pissed.
ic, but can't really blame them, played all the way until midnight bound to be abit edgy already. However good work tevez
WOOTS!

because he feels he is not the 1 that played the game and yet he gets a medal... so he feels maybe its not right
Congrats to all man utd's players, staffs and shareholders.
