United set their sights on Fluminese goal machine Neves

Manchester United are considering a summer bid for Brazilian attacking midfielder Thiago Neves.
The 23-year-old late developer was voted the Brazilian league's best player last year after scoring 12 goals in 33 games from midfield for Fluminense.
He is under contract until 2010 at the Rio de Janeiro club but is expected to leave after their assault on the Copa Libertadores - South America's equivalent of the Champions League.
His range of passing and an eye for shooting at goal from distance would draw Old Trafford comparisons with veteran midfielder Paul Scholes.
Neves made his international debut when coming on as a substitute during Brazil's 1-0 win against Sweden at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium last month.
A fee has not yet been discussed, but the Brazilians are well aware they could not resist the spending power of the English champions.
He would join Brazil midfielder Anderson at Old Trafford, with full backs Rafael and Fabio - 18-year-old twins signed from Fluminense - also eligible to play for United from the start of next season.

im waiting for the twins anyway... but the idea of brazilians in Man Utd doesnt quite work leh..remember Kleberson?

go and sign the following
1) Samir Nasri from Marseille ( die die u must get him! Replace Giggs and Nani)
2) Matias Fernandez from Villareal (in case Ronnie gets injured, he'll be a great replacement)
3) Jeremy Menez from AS Monaco ( you will need him since he plays like Messi)
These three must be considered since u cant get Kranjcar,Pato,Bojan,Vera...

the youtube video doesn show much.. the defenders and keepers made him look good.. not convincing enough.. BPL defenders are faster, tougher and harder..

bentley? gooners' reject? why? Cause he played in the big matches like in the WC, EC, UCL b4 and showed his quality or he is young, fast and able to create magic like Ronaldo? or just becos he is english?I think SAF should hunt in the EC2008..
