Rob Styles suffers demotion to League Two
Styles penalises Finnan, to Carragher's disbelief and gave Chelsea a penalty.A week after officiating at Blackburn's Premier League game against leaders Manchester United, referee Rob Styles will be in charge of Saturday's League Two match between Shrewsbury Town and Chester City.
Styles turned down two United penalty appeals and cautioned Wayne Rooney when he complained about a challenge by Steven Reid.
The Premier League would say only that referees' supremo Keith Hackett had 19 referees to choose from for 10 Premier League games each weekend, but it does appear a huge drop in status for a man regarded as one of England's senior referees.
Last month Styles was criticised over a penalty he awarded to Birmingham and in August he was sanctioned following his performance in Liverpool's game at home to Chelsea.
He gave Chelsea a penalty when it wasn't even a penalty !
Gave Essien 2 yellow cards and didn't send him off !

He don't just sucks, he is also an anti-United referee...Recently few months back they drop him already to Championship level, this time its to League Two match... What an idiot!

With due respect, with the exception of Howard Webb who I think is superb, I think most refs in the Premiership leave an awful lot to be desired...

I was surprised when one of the commentators in this game remarked that half of the penalties he awarded were against MU.
