Liverpool boss Benitez taunts Man Utd over Mascherano impact
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez admits they beat Manchester United to sign midfielder Javier Mascherano last season.
He said: "I don't know how interested United were in him last January but they have signed two or three players in his position, sometimes paying more money than we did for Mascherano.
"We are happy with what we have. I don't know if United are happy but we are.
"Javier has a fantastic mentality. He's a top player who can be a key figure for us over the next few years."

Its not he fade away, its normally because he is so heavyly mark during this kind of matches... Opponents know about him and they will try their best to stick so close to him that he won't have many chances... They will even go in hard and foul him on purpose so as to intimidate him. But in doing so, normally it benefit Tevez and Rooney who will get more chances when defenders double up on Ronaldo... -
Vs the Scousers, even a draw cannot be acceptable. Moreover it is at Old Trafford. Don't care whether they are in red hot form or not.. I keep the faith.

if ronaldo gets marked lets jus hope they wont put too much attention to rooney or tevez...thats what happened..they marked ronaldo in the previous encounter but forget to mark tevez which he scored -
