The Portuguese club's president, Pinto da Costa, confirmed that no
contact had been made with the Old Trafford giants and stated that the
club did not want to sell.
While Tottenham Hotspur have also had
their name in the frame, Da Pinto was reacting to stories that
suggested that Porto had spoke to Manchester United about the
25-year-old.
"We have not had a proposal," Da Costa told O Jogo.
"In the past year, Aston Villa revealed themselves to be an interested
party, but we did not accept the proposal.
"He is another of the players we intend to keep."
Bosingwa joined Porto in 2003 from Boavista when José Mourinho spotted his potential after starting his career at Freamunde.
