Ronaldo after treble
Cristiano Ronaldo believes Manchester United can look forward with confidence to challenging on three fronts.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side still harbour ambitions of retaining their Barclays Premier League title not to mention reclaiming the Champions League crown.
First of all though there is the small matter of an FA Cup fourth-round match against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Ronaldo could break his seasonal scoring record for the club, which stands at 23 goals.
tougher opponents
But he is quick to give credit to his team-mates and is convinced United are tougher opponents than last term because of the additions made to the squad.
He said: "We have great new players like Anderson, Nani, Tevez and Hargreaves.
"That is fantastic for us. Now we have a good chance in the league, the Champions League and the cup. We have a very good team and confidence is high among the players."
