Hutton waits for Manchester United

Alan Hutton has rejected an £8million move to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, as rumours of a counter-bid from Old Trafford emerge.
The Londoners have had a bid accepted by Rangers for the Scottish international fullback, who has been superb for both club and country throughout the first half of the season.
However, the 23-year-old has rejected the move to London, as he waits to hear if interest from Manchester United, who are on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Gary Neville, bears fruit.
Sir Alex Ferguson revealed he was impressed with Hutton during Scotland's failed attempt to qualify for Euro 2008, and he must now decide whether to follow up his interest with a firm bid. -

buy him. he's good. there's not much difference between him and G. Neville, except that he's taller, faster and stronger. His crossing still pales in comparison with Neville but that can be improved with training and practice.

Hutton rebuffs second Spurs offer
Rangers and Scotland full-back Alan Hutton has rejected a second approach from Tottenham, BBC Sport understands.
The 23-year-old last week turned down the chance to join the English Premier League club after Rangers accepted an offer in the region of £8m.
Spurs came back with improved personal terms in a bid to lure the attack-minded defender down south.
However, Hutton, who signed a five-year deal in July, remains committed to the SPL leaders.
Spurs manager Juande Ramos is keen to add to his squad at White Hart Lane but the Spaniard will now look elsewhere for a new right-back. -
