  Sheffield United chairman Terry Robinson also revealed the Blades hope to make a loan deal for Manchester United's Phil Bardsley permanent, as well as finalising moves for a central midfield player and a wide man.
  
  He said on Bardsley: "We have a deal in place with Manchester United for Phil and it's now down to us to agree personal terms. The fee will be close to a £1m."

  Bardsley snubs Blades
  
  Man Utd defender Phil Bardsley will snub a move to Sheffield United in favour of Sunderland.
  
  The full-back has been on loan with the Blades and both clubs have agreed a £1.5m fee.
  
  But Bardsley (above) is keen to go to the Stadium of Light and said: "In my eyes it's still a mile away.
  
  The clubs might have agreed something but I haven't. No one has said anything to me so we'll just have to wait and see. I want to keep doing well for Sheffield United.
  
  "You've got to consider your options. It's a big move, so we'll wait and see."
