Barca want VDS

Barcelona want Edwin van der Sar as back-up to their first-choice keeper Victor Valdes next season.
Van der Sar's current deal at Manchester United ends in June and the Dutch international is expected to move on.
United have England prospect Ben Foster, currently injured, waiting in the wings.
And Barca, coached by Dutch aces Frank Rijkaard and Johan Neeskens, see fellow countryman Van der Sar, 36, as the perfect signing now present No2 Albert Jorquera is set to leave.
A Barca insider indicated the Spanish giants are looking for a keeper with quality and who has also been untouched by controversy. That would leave the club without any possible problems should Valdes be injured at any time. -

He's free to go. After watching Kuzczcak playing during the Roma match, i'm convinced that Kuzczcak can replace Van der Sar well.

i seriously doubt VDS wud wanna go and be a bench warmer... even for a club like barca..
