Four and a half years after missing out on his signature, rumours abound that Sir Alex Ferguson could finally sign Ronaldinho.
The Catalan club insist that they are "not going to sell Ronaldinho [and] are not in contact with any team" concerning the Brazilian forward.
Chelsea and AC Milan are seen as frontrunners to sign the 27-year-old should Barca decide to cash in. But the Sunday Mirror believes United could be his preferred choice.
United are also being linked with Reading left-back Nicky Shorey as cover for Patrice Evra, or Lokomotiv Moscow's versatile Serbian defender Branislav Ivanovic. An international team-mate of United's defensive rock Nemanja Vidic, Ivanovic would cost a reported £10million. -
Eh if im not wrong... i read the papers and Ronaldinho said that he prefers to go to United as compared to Chelsea and he has reportedly rejected Roman.
But i can't see how United are going to fit him in...
I'd prefer that they get a left-back or some defensive players to give cover for their defence.

United's attack is quite sufficient already... i still don't know why they're linked to ronaldinho and anelka...
rooney and tevez can play well together... so the destination for the new striker, if united get one in january, would no doubt be the bench i think

Ronaldinho is starting to wane in Barcelona so he should leaave and sign with United cuz we really dont want to lose him to the other clubs now do we? He can still do some good damage even when sitting on a bench

Unless Giggs retires and Nani is inconsistent, otherwise getting Ronnie is like Chelsea signing Sheva.

i been reading and scholari even pointed that Ronaldinho is past his prime.
I am not a follower of La Liga so maybe some fans can help to point out whether he is still as good..
maybe with messi, he pales in comparison..
but I don't think someone with mega ego can fit in to MUFC, but then look what happened to Cantona.. -

Midfield positions are now very full so Man Utd don't need Ronaldinho, who would most likely command a super fat paycheck. Form is inconsistent also...
Besides, why sign a player who fly pigeon on Man Utd back then? -
