Giggs primed for Liverpool test

Evergreen winger Ryan Giggs feels it is important for Manchester United to get a positive result away to Liverpool on Sunday.
Giggs does not expect Sunday's Premier League matches to have a decisive impact on the title race, but is hoping to emerge from Merseyside with a positive outcome.
"I'll start preparing now for the Liverpool game if I'm not involved in midweek," said Giggs, who is likely to be rested for the Champions League trip to Roma, in the Daily Mirror.
"It's such a big game, especially at Anfield, and we know we're going to have to play well to come away with a result.
"The top four are all playing each other next Sunday, so no one's going to lose the title on the day, but it's important for everyone to try to get a decent result." -

Giggs won't need reminding of his first trip to Anfield as a United player at the tender age of 18, when he and his team-mates were also battling for the league championship. Liverpool won 2-0 and as Giggs describes, the home fans were not sympathetic to his woes: "After the game, a couple of Liverpool fans asked me for my autograph," he said. "I obliged, only for them to tear it up in front of me. The manager always reminds me of that incident to motivate me when we play Liverpool." -

one thing I can't take it is that some local liverpool fans deny this fact and think liverpool are all angels.. -
i suppose the rivalry between Man Utd and Liverpool is super duper deep. I think that Man Utd will face hostile challenges from Liverpool since Liverpool lost 3-1 to Reading last week.
