Sunderland have parted company with reserve-team coach Kevin Richardson.
The 44-year-old has left the Stadium of Light just two days after former Bolton first-team coach Ricky Sbragia joined the Black Cats coaching staff.
Sbragia's arrival means Neil Bailey drops down from first-team coach to take charge of the reserves and there is no room at the club for Richardson.
He told the Sunderland Echo: "It's never nice when you lose your job, but these things happen in football."
