Trio nominated for FIFA award

  Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez have made FIFA's shortlist for the World Player of the Year award.
  
  AC Milan's Brazilian midfielder Kaka is being touted as the favourite to win the prestigious accolade, although he faces stiff competition, particularly from the likes of United's very own Cristiano Ronaldo, who was instrumental in the Reds' title success last season.
  
  The successor to last year's winner, Italy's inspirational defender Fabio Cannavaro, will be announced at the FIFA World Player Gala 2007 on 17 December in Zurich.

  I predict will end like this
  
  Kaka - For his all round play in..everything..ball control dosen lose out much to the 2 below, but can pass and shoot better...
  Ronaldo - Club performances not as good as messi but still owns. I feel that he has the edge in his performances when playing for Portugal
  Messi - Club performances simply superb.

  I think his international performances r great..if im not wrong for a period of time last season it's like almost get a goal or an assist per international game that kind one...
  
  I think his league form is good(Duh). But Messi's one is almost god like...
