Sunderland pushed Arsenal all the way at The Emirates on Sunday to give the Gunners the sternest test of their title-winning potential so far. But Blak Cats' manager Roy Keane does not think they'll be champions come May.
Arsenal recovered well from the shock of losing a a two-goal lead at home to Sunderland to win 3-2 and maintain their lead at the top of the table.
Robin Van Persie, who had scored the opener, found a late winner to preserve Arsenal's 100 per cent home record, enbling them to leap-frog Manchester United back into first place with a game in hand over the Red Devils.
Sunderland manager Roy Keane was impressed - but only so far.
Asked after the match if, having seen them at close quarters, there was anyone better than Arsenal in the Prenier League, Keane replied: "Yes, I think so. There's one team."
And perhaps not surprisingly, ex-Manchester United skipper Keane believes his old side will be the ones celebrating the title again next May.
Keane said: “I think it’s shaping up to be the same old title race between United and Arsenal but I’d still take United at the end of it.
“Arsenal deserved to win but I think United will have the edge. That’s just my personal opinion.
“I just think United are just a touch ahead."
