Keane wants Man Utd pair on loan

Roy Keane aims to bring Manchester United defenders Jonny Evans and Danny Simpson back to Sunderland in the January transfer window.
Both enjoyed a successful spell last season as Keane guided the Black Cats back to the Premier League.
Keane said: "If I thought there was an opportunity to bring Jonny to Sunderland, we would consider it.
"He did brilliantly for the club before, as did Danny, and it would be nice if we thought they'd come back."
Simpson played 13 games in Sunderland's Championship-winning campaign and former Old Trafford hero Keane admitted: "It was a nightmare giving them back as they they'd settled in so well.
"But they were good professionals, hard trainers out on the pitch and ready to put everything in.
"Nothing happens until January anyway. But I know there will be a lot of teams ringing up United after Sir Alex (Ferguson) said the other week that there would be plenty going out on loan.
"His phone will be red hot at this moment in time and whether Jonny will still be there in January I really don't know, but it would be nice if we thought they'd come back." -
Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted with UnitedÂ’s convincing 4-0 victory over Wigan Athletic, and had particular words of praise for youngsters Gerard Pique and Danny Simpson who were thrown into the action.
Pique started the match at right-back, but switched to the centre to partner Rio Ferdinand just before the half hour mark after both Nemanja Vidic and John O'Shea had gone off injured.
As a result, Simpson was introduced in the 29th minute and the 20-year-old defender came of age during only his second appearance for the club, adding an assist to his name following his excellent cross for Wayne Rooney for United's fourth goal.
“Danny's a very confident boy,” Sir Alex told MUTV. “He’s so quick and is a tremendous defender. He’s improving his technique all the time and he is one of the players that I would not consider going on loan this year because he’s valuable to us.
Don't think fergie will let simpson go

He looks okay going forward but couldn't see much of his defensive capabilities.
I doubt he'll get a game when Gaz/Brown/Bardsley/O'shea returns. Fergie should loan him out. -

Why no one wants Eagles??

eagles...i saw him during some run outs in previous games,he juz run n run n run aimlessly,he can't do much with the ball probably too inexperienced n defenders close him down or knock him off the ball too quick.He can't hold on to the ball for more than 10s during sunderland game when fergie started him..Originally posted by sand king:Why no one wants Eagles?? -
Given the amount of injuries United have, it's probably best not to loan out them.

to me, he is lacking in build, and still can't command the same as beckham.
beckham was known for his precision, be it in crossing or set pieces.
eagles, just not there yet.
given how SAF is allowing nani, anderson, simpson, pique to play, I believe he is allowing young players with talents to build their composure.
eagles will have to come up against ronaldo, nani, even Giggs for a spot on the wings.
also, SAF loves to use inter-changing wingers, so eagles being right-legged, is not advantageous for him.
perhaps he can impress more during reserves match, and then steadily work towards commanding a regular first team?? -
