Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is refusing to put a date on when he might call an end to his playing days.
United head to Birmingham on Saturday evening looking to record a fifth straight league win and Giggs cannot be found wanting in his desire.
"I never give a thought to how long I can go on," he said. "I don't think you can afford to.
"I don't look beyond a season. If I am being honest, I don't even look beyond a week.
"I am not as quick as I used to be, that is a fact. But I have adapted my game and hopefully I can keep contributing.
"There are obviously so many forward options for the manager now, so it might be a little harder to get back into the team if you are not playing well but I have confidence in my own ability.
"But I thought last year I might have to accept less games last season and then I ended up playing more than I have done for the previous 10 years.
"The main thing is I still feel fit. It is a little bit harder to recover now but the fact I am not playing for Wales now is helping and hopefully that carries on."
