Golden BallsÂ’ dad Ted Beckham has suffered a devastating heart attack at his home.
The dad of the former United star complained of chest pains yesterday afternoon before being rushed to a specialist heart disease hospital in East London.
Paramedics fought to revive Ted at his Leytonstone home. Sources close to the family say “it’s touch and go.”
The LA Galaxy star has only just started speaking to his dad again after his dad published a warts and all account of his son.
Insiders reported that David was unhappy with his DadÂ’s decision to write David Beckham My Story in 2005.
Father and son didnÂ’t speak for months following the publication of the book.
Ted split with DavidÂ’s mum Sandra in 2002. Since then the family relationship has been strained to say the least.
The Beckham camp have reported that David boarded the first flight following news of his DadÂ’s condition.
