The match was entertaining in the 1st half albeit lacklustre in the second...
Unanimously, the red card was the turning point and being only 1 of 2 Manchester Fans out of the many in the pub i was in, i can only limit myself to a small hooray
Watching that match was like watching a Carling cup match seriously..Chelsea look like lost sheeps without Mourinho..It's clearly they need him to guide them with the passion and determination..Oh well..what can that Shrek grant do anyway... And i do saw marco van basten sitting with Roman on TV during the earlier part of the game...sounds like a cool deal coming up.. Marco VanBasten quitting the Holland coaching job for Chelsea..
Sounds like it's coming true in my predictions that Chelsea is going down hard...i foresee an exodus of players going out in January..along with their many "fans" -

If it were me, I'd have told them to pressure Chelsea, create chances and kill the game off. Basically slaughter them. If United had done that, we'd have put a larger dent in the title ambitions of one of our challegners. Also, it would have built confidence for our players and helped our cause with a better goal difference.
At the start, with the Cole on Evra tackle, the ref was a complete idiot. It was rather clear, but obviously not to him. Seriously, the ref was a horrid. My grandmother could do better than him. He was making horribly inconsistent calls. It didn't help Chelsea as their players looked half dead. The way that Essien gave the ball away was pretty amazing. His facial expression after that incident tells it all.
Let's see how much Chelsea will fall. Now it should be a 3 horse race. The Red Devils, The reds and The gooners. We all know who deserves to win

Fergie praises "lion" Tevez
Sir Alex Ferguson heaped praise on Carlos Tevez after the Manchester United striker opened his account in the 2-0 win against Chelsea.
The United boss believes the Argentine has the quality to be a major success at Old Trafford following his protracted move this summer.
Tevez stooped to give the champions a first half lead and set them on course for a victory that saw them leapfrog neighbours Manchester City to go second in the Premiership.
Ferguson said: “He’s a very good player and he will get better.
“He’s a young lad, but he’s got a cocky confidence and awareness.
“He’s brave as a lion and tough as nails. He has tremendous qualities and I’m pleased he’s off the mark. It will only help him.”
Tevez started up front with Wayne Rooney for the first time since arriving at Old Trafford and put in a man of the match performance.
Ferguson believed his header was the turning point in the match and reckons United are nearing top form after a jittery start to their title defence.
“Tevez and Rooney are back and we’re looking more like ourselves now,” he said. -

I juz met one Chelsea glory-hunter. One of my friends who had been betting Chelsea-Utd matches with me all the time just told me from Sunday onwards, he will be supporting Arsenal! Thats the problem. Many confuse supporting the manager or players with supporting the club... I also supported Real but i was very clear about it, i only supported them in spirit while Beckham was there. Nevertheless, if they were to come to Sg, i wouldn't mind paying money to watch United's match without a second thought but i wouldn't pay if the price was too high to watch a Real Madrid game.
This is the problem Chelsea is facing i feel... Mourinho a charismatic manager, some fans are attracted to chelsea solely because of him and not for the kind of football they play. Just like some fans are supporting Sunderland cos of Roy Keane. But the day Roy leave them, those who followed Sunderland cos of him will most likely also desert them.
People seem to forget that Chelsea is an institution and not a mourinho fan club... I guess thats the reason for the 24,000 including away fans turnout in their opening European match. Now onwards, i feel chelsea will only attract real chelsea fans instead of mourinho fans... and neutrals may not dislike them like before.

And in the La Liga, i'm still interested in Madrid's results but then again i also don't feel that i really support them either. I just prefer them among the rest and like watching their champions league games in the past with the galaticcos. -
Tevez broke his United duck with a crucial goal
Carlos Tevez has accused Chelsea of violent play in Sunday's bad-tempered clash at Old Trafford and warned them that Manchester United no longer view them as their main title rivals.
The match featured a red card for midfielder John Obi Mikel and a tackle from Joe Cole that deserved another. United striker Tevez, scorer of United's first goal in their 2-0 win, said: 'Chelsea pushed the violence to the absolute limit and there could have been other red cards during the match. But justice prevailed in the end and we deserved to win.
'Our game is totally superior to Chelsea's this season and the scoreline was actually a little short of what we deserved. 'I have seen the problems at Chelsea with the change of coach, but this season they have just not developed the rhythm of other years. I don't see that they are superior to any of our other title rivals. Chelsea were very nervous and it was impossible that we were going to lose the match.'
Argentina striker Tevez revealed that he received special congratulations from United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after scoring his first goal for the club. 'I will always remember the goal and for it to come against Chelsea is magic,' he said.
'Sir Alex Ferguson gave me his congratulations after. He is key to me being a success here. I'd heard good things about him before I came here but he is even better than I thought.' -

figo went inter. but i dun like them though they won last season. lol. dun like milan either, though kaka is there. coz of juve and specifically del piero... still support juve.... cos del piero is still there. sad that zidane left though. sad that they lost so many ECL finals. and sad that they were stripped of 2 serie A titles. but they were promoted within a season. a surprise for me. hope they do well this season. too much to hope for?
