Manchester United defender Gary Neville is hoping to end his injury nightmare in the next fortnight.
The England international has been on the sidelines for nearly a month after injuring his ankle against Bolton back in March.
A thigh injury curtailed Neville's first comeback, but the Red Devils stalwart is confident of featuring within the next two weeks.
The 32-year-old believes this weekend's clash against Everton at Goodison Park could be too soon, so is targeting Chelsea's trip to Old Trafford on September 23.
"I probably did a bit too much, I was a bit over-excited getting back and I just felt my thigh a little bit," he told MUTV. "It's frustrating.
"Hopefully in the next week or two I'll be back and I hope to be playing games in the next couple of weeks definitely.
"Because I've been out for such a long time I think the Everton game is going to be too soon, I think it will probably be after that."
