Injury ravaged Louis Saha has vowed to continue to give 100% to Manchester United's cause regardless of the risk to himself.
The French striker returned from injury to score United's winner against Sunderland on Saturday and he seems a vitally important player for the misfiring Champions.
His United career has been dogged by injury setbacks and he has only managed eight league appearances this year as a result, but while he believes the key to avoiding injury is to hold back he is adamant that he will not do so.
"I know exactly how not to get injured," he said.
"All I have to do is play without full commitment. But I won't do it, I can't do it.
"United players have to play at 100%, so if things like this happen to me, it is just because of the game."
Regarding his winner against the Black Cats, he added: "I was just happy to be back on the pitch, to score was immense.
"It has been a very difficult period and I have had a lot of criticism, which was fair.
"Now I have an amazing chance to try and get fitter over the next two weeks because before this, I only played in a couple of training games."
