Boss unfazed by gap

Sir Alex Ferguson has eased the fans worries about United trailing Chelsea so early on in the season by reassuring them that the five point gap is "recoverable."
Speaking before the visit of Sunderland to Old Trafford, Sir Alex is hopeful that the 1-0 win against Tottenham last weekend will give the team a boost.
"When you get your first win it helps," insisted the boss. "We can look at last weekend and say yes, three points is important and it could trigger off a good run.
"We're one these clubs that can go on a long run and hopefully that continues against Sunderland. "
The Reds' boss is also aware that the league hasnÂ’t taken its usual shape yet.
"It's looking a bit different this year," he admitted. "No-one is really winning games by big amounts. The results have been pretty close and there haven't been a lot of goals about."
In recent years the battle for the title has been a two horse race, and Sir Alex is not expecting things to be much different this round.
"We say this every year," reasoned Sir Alex, when asked whether more teams will sustain a strong challenge. "By January it usually breaks into a couple of teams, but you never know." -

Even their 2nd team killed off sunderland. and now a 6-0 derby win..
They have started red-hot. I doubt they can last the whole season cause there will be other commitments like UCL, FA cup and etc.
but for me, blackburn is also a good team. they may even outperform Spurs.
