Paul Scholes is confident United can rediscover the goal touch sooner rather than later, following a barren start to the season.
The veteran midfielder is the Reds' only goalscorer this term, but is adamant Sir Alex Ferguson's side have the wherewithal to start converting the numerous chances they continue to create.
"I would hope that the goals are just around the corner for us, but we can't take it for granted," Scholes told MUTV.
"There are lots of players in the team who can score goals and create them. And it will hopefully soon all click into place so we can go and win some games."
Injuries to Wayne Rooney and Louis Saha have kept them sidelined, while the sales of Giuseppe Rossi and Alan Smith have left the Reds short on numbers up front.
New signing Carlos Tevez has been thrown in at the deep end as a result and, although he is yet to score, his displays have impressed Scholes.
"Carlos has been brilliant so far and his work-rate is something to be admired," he said. "We all know the quality he has and he will hopefully go on to score a lot of goals for us."
