Without Rio, it would have been 1-1.Originally posted by iceFatboy:normally after such a game, I got more confidence that MUFC going to win the title.
cause we all know in order to win, you need that type of luck, and MUFC got it.
I think the ball hit brown chest and not the arm. If it hits the arm, the arm will fly backwards not forward as it is. Look carefully.. Good call, referee.
And for once, Rio was on his toes.
We badly miss R&R.. and for once, we are assured that Giggs can be retired with Nani in town.
Like the commentators said, MUFC has no punch upfront. With Owen guarding, Carrick or Scholes should really go upfront, but they end up coming back and making tevez a loner.
Let's face it Tevez is no Rooney. They may look the same build, Rooney got that British Steel in his upper body, but sadly not on his foot.
Other that Giggs, I would retire Brown. He is too inflexible and more suited for the Central roles..
All in all, we got the win under the belt. Next up, stadium of light.
not really, without rio it would be 1-0 to tottenham first, then who knows where it might have gone from there.Originally posted by sand king:Without Rio, it would have been 1-1.

the ref kelong! i also think tottenham deserve to win, but i think a bit of kelong in this gameOriginally posted by sand king:Without Rio, it would have been 1-1.
Hmm but im still not sure why a penalty wasn't given to vidic?
Did the ref play ''avantage''?
lol, must thank brown for trowing himself at the ball too ya know
care to explain please?Originally posted by SoccerExpert:the ref kelong! i also think tottenham deserve to win, but i think a bit of kelong in this game
pardon my ignorance, but may I know who fixed this match then?Originally posted by SoccerExpert:the penalty will sure not be given even if the ref give the penalty for the hand ball the match might also end up man utd win 2-1!, because man utd must win this match to get any chance of retain their title, this match already fixed!! there is no way man utd will draw or lose
if we know?Originally posted by shagadelic1892:pardon my ignorance, but may I know who fixed this match then?
if u really believe me i will tell u, actually all the players manager plus all the ref already fixed the match! there is no way man utd not to win, they spend lot of money on it . when the match over they got paid.Originally posted by shagadelic1892:pardon my ignorance, but may I know who fixed this match then?
probably fired up to beat keano.... and catch up wif chelski...Originally posted by sand king:oh, yea agreed
I wonder how will the lads fair against Sunderland
i would say tevez played not too shabbily... he could do better wif his shots though. but his passing not bad.Originally posted by iceFatboy:normally after such a game, I got more confidence that MUFC going to win the title.

Er, I could never understand all these match-fixing stuff. So if what you said above is true, you mean during the save made by Ferdinard, for instance, Berbatov had to time his shot such that there was time for Ferdinard to rush back to the line and clear it??? Pardon me, but sounds a bit far-fetched.Originally posted by SoccerExpert:if u really believe me i will tell u, actually all the players manager plus all the ref already fixed the match! there is no way man utd not to win, they spend lot of money on it . when the match over they got paid.
you hit the nail dead on the head, it is all fixed.Originally posted by SoccerExpert:if u really believe me i will tell u, actually all the players manager plus all the ref already fixed the match! there is no way man utd not to win, they spend lot of money on it . when the match over they got paid.
tevez shots?? for me, he seems to shoot one which was cleared by jenas..Originally posted by imprezaWRXSTi22B:i would say tevez played not too shabbily... he could do better wif his shots though. but his passing not bad.
we need brown la.... what if rio and vidic injured? giggs is definitely declining...
but scholes is as good as ever!
well, it was as if Rio suddenly wakes up and play like a defender.Originally posted by sand king:Without Rio, it would have been 1-1.

Like it or not, MUFC will cream spurs no matter what.Originally posted by SoccerExpert:the penalty will sure not be given even if the ref give the penalty for the hand ball the match might also end up man utd win 2-1!, because man utd must win this match to get any chance of retain their title, this match already fixed!! there is no way man utd will draw or lose
yeah the ref play advantage
600 mil pound = S$1.8 billionOriginally posted by iceFatboy:you hit the nail dead on the head, it is all fixed.
but just for fun, MUFC pay with what??
They are 600M in debts, and just spend 50M in the summer...
600 Millions pounds, my dear, not 600 millions sperms..
so unless you got hard evidence, why don't you join the company of ronaldog and GP and start barking to the wall...
hard to say le... my other fave club juve kena strip of 2 titles..... hope they win serie A this season.Originally posted by Spica:Er, I could never understand all these match-fixing stuff. I don't know about other teams, but I know Utd will never fix a match. There is too much pride at stake and the risk of being found out is not worth it. Especially not after what happened in the Italian League. Okay, i'm being idealistic, but I chose to have faith in my team.
ya tevez's other shots were weak or way off. in fact i think he had better chances in the 0-1 loss against man c.Originally posted by iceFatboy:tevez shots?? for me, he seems to shoot one which was cleared by jenas..
okie, it was on target.
owen seems to shoot twice and he not even a striker.
brown is needed but at best a bench warmer. he is a centre half..
to ask him to run the flanks and cross the ball in.. just too stretch.
credit to chelsea, they saw the right back as a problem and bought one in.
even though he was 31 years young.
to me, that's decisive. imagine if we have bought Richards from City.
speaking of rio... i SAW him doing a nice long pass, dropping right in front of tevez behind tevez's covering defender... alas tevez couldnt control it and let it bounce to the keeper.Originally posted by iceFatboy:well, it was as if Rio suddenly wakes up and play like a defender.
maybe, his ass was on fire from SAF"s death rays...
