nani's shot was decent, there was enough power and accuracy, coupled with a stroke of luck in a deflection off tevez for a swerve away from robinson and into goal.
spurs' shouts for handball & penalties for both incidents involving brown were good claims though. The devils were very lucky this time round.
So next match against Sunderland. so many old boys coming back. Most notably, Keano, Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke. With world-class midfielder Kieran Richardson and former Reds academy defender Paul McShane in the line-up, we wouldn't wanna leave any room for sentiments, would we?

Our 1st win of the season.
But honestly speaking.. they didnt really deserve the win. Very patchy play. Defence was sleeping for periods of the game.

normally after such a game, I got more confidence that MUFC going to win the title.
cause we all know in order to win, you need that type of luck, and MUFC got it.
I think the ball hit brown chest and not the arm. If it hits the arm, the arm will fly backwards not forward as it is. Look carefully.. Good call, referee.
And for once, Rio was on his toes.
We badly miss R&R.. and for once, we are assured that Giggs can be retired with Nani in town.
Like the commentators said, MUFC has no punch upfront. With Owen guarding, Carrick or Scholes should really go upfront, but they end up coming back and making tevez a loner.
Let's face it Tevez is no Rooney. They may look the same build, Rooney got that British Steel in his upper body, but sadly not on his foot.
Other that Giggs, I would retire Brown. He is too inflexible and more suited for the Central roles..
All in all, we got the win under the belt. Next up, stadium of light.
