Actually I thought our guys did quite well. Just look at the stats. But Reading's defence too heavy. Kudos to Hahnemann...did a great job to keep our guys out didn't he?

Ok being practical here. Like my post on the 1s page fo the thread i went wtf when i saw silvestre and evra on de left wing.Its like wtf?Effectively, Man Utd were playing only with 1 striker with Rooney, against a team with 10 men behind the ball and even he was stretchered off.
Team should rly have capitalised their chances.No excuse of not buying a target man or whatsoever. We didn have a targetman last season too.Hope this lesson teaches the team about complacency. -
man utd doesnt need a target man when they have ronaldo and giggs to work their way in...
and thats for last season. what more now with anderson tevez and nani.... if these people cant play their way in, i doubt a target man will help. im sure all the tricks, feints, one-twos and off-the-ball running can unlock defences. its just that man utd din take the chances they created....
and although the keeper played well, theres no excuse for not finishing off at least 1 of the chances. -
