THIS is the woman who nurtured the skills of Manchester UnitedÂ’s new wonderkid Rhain Davis.
Maths teacher Diana Patchett helped the nine-year-old hone his amazing talent in Australia.
And she was “thrilled” at United’s decision to whisk Rhain and family 11,000 miles to Britain after club scouts saw a DVD of his ability.
The mum of four said last night: “Rhain’s realised his dream. He truly is a miraculous talent.”
Diana, who teaches at Moreton Bay BoysÂ’ School in Brisbane, said Rhain worships UnitedÂ’s Cristiano Ronaldo, copying his skills for hours.
She said: “He even includes him and Wayne Rooney in his prayers.”
Rhain, who is under 4ft, and dad Mark have moved to Cheshire. Mum Leah and brothers Emerson, 12, and Reeve, five, will join them soon.
Bookies William Hill rate Rhain at 33/1 to play for England and at 20/1 to play for United.
Meanwhile, Calum Collins, 11, of Birmingham, has been dubbed “a genius” by soccer legend Pele.
Dad John, a soccer coach, said: “Hopefully he and Rhain will one day lead England to World Cup glory.” Calum, an Aston Villa target, also wants to play for Man U.
