New boys set for Friday bow
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that new signings Anderson and Owen Hargreaves should make their United debuts in Friday's friendly at Doncaster.
The pair are yet to make an appearance since joining in late May, due to Hargreaves' knee injury and Anderson's involvement in Brazil's triumphant Copa America campaign.
With both players taking full part in training this week, however, Sir Alex expects to field the duo on Friday and potentially again in Saturday's trip to Peterborough.
Speaking to MUTV after Wednesday night's friendly defeat to Inter Milan, Sir Alex said: "The Doncaster and Peterborough games weÂ’ll use for Hargreaves, Anderson, Silvestre and Fletcher.
"Those players who didnÂ’t play tonight, theyÂ’ll be involved in those two games."
It seems unlikely, however, that either of the new boys will see any action in Sunday's Community Shield clash with Chelsea.
"My team in mind (for Sunday) is maybe even tonightÂ’s team and I think weÂ’re ok," Sir Alex revealed. -
Good Good! I would like to see how they perform after that awful performance against Inter.

How come they got so many matches... This one on Fri plus the match against Peterborough on Sat at 10pm and in the FA Community Shield against Chelsea on Sun at 10pm... 3 matches in 3 days?

Did you watch that match against Inter? They actually played very well leh... First half bad defending only after that really good. I watch it just now on Ch 107. Rooney was really good man. On the contrary, I think Anderson is really very ordinary. I think Fergie signed yet another flop. I hope Anderson proves me wrong after seeing how he struggles against minnows like Doncaster and even Academy player Darren Gibson outshone him.

Ah well, it's only his first match, probably taking it easy as well since it was against Doncaster.
Btw, his match fitness is quite poor because he broke a leg last season and hasnt played much since. So poor that he might have even aggravated his hamstring.
