Lack of strikers?

  Rossi is gone, Smith most likely going to newcastle. We only have Rooney, Saha, Ole and Dong left.
  
  Lets say Rooney is superman this season, playing every match, who will partner him?
  
  Saha? He's too injury prone.
  Ole, don't think he can last 90mins.
  Dong, he's still not ready for first team action.
  
  So are we now lack of strikers instead? Don't think the Tevez deal can make it on time.
  
  Whats fergie thinking?

  Last season, Rooney was the only striker making huge contribution. The rest were midfielders' goals.
  
  This season, with Nani and Anderson's inclusion, i think United will be playing a more fluid attack, Rooney will be the centre threat while others join in from the wings.

  Who knows, Fergie may bring one in again in Jan like he did with Larsson... Anyway, I belief Tevez will come so shouldn't be too much of a problem... Only worry about the defense now with Heinze leaving and Evra didn't had a good game against Inter... Anyway, Evra is still too short, may have problem against tall strikers.

  No i don't have a "Thing" for tall footballers... But just feel more confident with one that is more of a standard height in the EPL. My comment that Evra is still too short and may have problems against tall strikers isn't unfounded. A lot of clubs have big tall strikers these days... Against average teams, the other departments can make up for it but against top sides... One mistake is all it takes or should i say 1 inch shorter could make the difference...
