Juventus have made it clear they are hoping to sign Gabriel Heinze from Manchester United. The Argentine has been at the centre of a tug-of-war between Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool this summer.
Liverpool are determined to bring in Heinze but Sir Alex Ferguson has stressed that he will not sell to another top English club.
The matter is threatening to turn ugly but United would be prepared to let Heinze go overseas.
Juventus have been linked with Heinze for some time and general manager Jean-Claude Blanc has now confirmed his side's interest.
"We'll have to see if something can happen with Heinze," Blanc said in The Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, reports suggest Juve are prepared to offer Manchester United Raffaele Palladino plus cash for Giuseppe Rossi.
Ferguson recently hinted that Rossi could be set to leave Old Trafford and he has attracted the attention of several top clubs.
